Why have 10 blogs on specific topics when you can have just 1 with all kinds of random topics?

A DEGREE in photography? I'm not sure I even knew that was possible! Very very cool. Does she know about the Shutter Sisters website? Have her google it - bet she'll love it!

Yes, I do intend to put up a "regular" shot, though you can see a very similar one that I already have online. It's from earlier in the evening so the contrast between sky and beach is not as extreme, but it's a start. I was shooting one "normally" before then creating the multiple exposures to create the high dynamic range version.

My wife actually has a degree in Photography, so she enjoys it as well. To be honest, she has a much more creative eye for composition than I do - sometimes too creative, to the point where the shot is actually impossible :-)

Excellent photo and interesting description of what it took to create it! Any chance you could post a "regular" shot side by side with the finished product? I'd be curious to see the difference. I've read about HDR imaging on DPS, but don't have Photoshop or a desire to try it myself.

It's nice that you and your wife can go out together. Does she enjoy photography as much as you do?
